The first ever Omaha Half Marathon took place in December 2016 and - wow - in the space of 9 months the event had grown from 376 entrants to almost 1500! This place was ready for a half marathon and the flat, fast and amazingly scenic coastal route was just what Auckland runners were looking for. What a day!
